Chapter 84

I truly believed that Toby Chambers wouldn’t be a problem in my life with Gray. Instinct told me that he would never intrude in our relationship again, not since I’d bested him at Rossner Junction. If I’d beat the shit out of him once, who’s to say I couldn’t do it a second time? Not that I wanted to be hardcore. Fighting is repulsive, and I am not repulsive. But Toby needed to know that there were lines he couldn’t cross, one of which included my relationship with Gray.

I drove in silence, overjoyed at the thought of seeing Gray again, and at the thought of getting back to work on Master/Servant. The excitement brought me out in goose bumps. My heart pounded wildly in my chest, and I craved some one-on-one time with the cowboy, whether it was sexual or not. I couldn’t deny missing him, and I was tender-hearted for the man, in lust with and for his flesh, and I wanted to mesh my life with his, fully.
