Jojo closed his eyes for a moment to focus on his thoughts, and then held his index finger to say something. “First, the other night. I’m sorry. I feel I led you on. We kissed in the courtyard, then I invited you to my room.” Jojo paused. Adam’s blue eyes bored into him, and his stomach twisted. “I shouldn’t have kept kissing you.”
Adam smiled. “Or taking off my shirt? Or taking off your shirt?”
Jojo’s face flushed. The memory of the other night was still fresh in his mind. He had been extremely turned on by Adam, and even now he wanted to kiss him again. Adam’s lips enticed him now. It was uncomfortable for Jojo to feel this way, to have his emotions and desire sidelining his usual logical analysis of things. His skin tingled with electricity.
Adam stepped closer. “Listen, I’m sorry, too. I moved too fast. And I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable. I guess that’s the word I’m looking for,” Adam said. “Uncomfortable.”
