Preston scratched his chin. “So maybe the first rule should be that everyone’s feelings are valid. Nothing we feel is wrong or ridiculous, and even if we don’t understand, we accept.”


“And maybe we agree to not have full-on sex unless it’s all three of us. At least in the beginning,” Preston said.


As he talked, I shook my head. “I can’t ask that of you!”


“You didn’t ask,” Sawyer said. “We offered.”


I wanted to agree and take them up on it, but at the same time, it made me feel like a giant selfish shit-head. Chaotic and conflicting thoughts spun in my mind, and the worry-butterflies that had settled after my talk with Drew earlier took flight in my stomach again.
