Chapter 44

Thomas let himself relax on the sofa and passed his hands through his hair. A little more than a month ago, he didn’t even know who Elias was, and he had thought he was okay in his lonely cocoon. Now he would never choose to turn back to the man he used to be, despite the fact that the relationship with this guy had started in such a complicated way and had forced him to deal with very unpleasant things. He was worried for Elias, and at the same time, he wanted him to take the last step to move himself away from his previous life and make him start a new one with Thomas.

His hands itched, thinking about Liam, the life he had forced Elias to live, the pain he had caused him for so many years. It really was the first time in his whole life he realized how easy it would be for somebody with a gun to decide to use it to make their own justice.
