Chapter 30

In some part of his mind, Dean acknowledged he was a bastard for opening a door he would have to close sooner rather than later. If Jay loved him it was unfair, and Dean would be swearing at his own reflection come morning. Didn’t stop him—not with Jay beckoning with every twitch and outcry. Still, the longed-for unspoken permission spoke of Jay wrestling with a decision similar to Dean’s. A war took place between mind and body, common sense and desire. Dean had less of a problem giving in to his needs. He hoped Jay would decide the same, but the delay might yet slaughter him. The one way to tip Jay over the edge Dean found disconcerting even as he accepted he meant to do it. He’d done this with a woman before now and driven her crazy with it.
