“Do you see anything that interests you?” Dean asked.
“I don’t know much about this stuff. I don’t want to see The Sound of Music, I’ll tell you that much.”
“Don’t worry. It’s not playing. How about Phantom of the Opera? It’s been playing for over thirty years.”
“No wonder there are half-price tickets available then,” said Marco.
“Don’t be silly. It’s still very popular. Thousands and thousands of tourists come to New York all the time, and it’s always a top choice with them.”
“Okay,” Marco shrugged. “If you say it’s good, I’ll take your word for it.”
They bought tickets for the two o’clock matinee, and Dean pointed to the nearest subway entrance. “We’ll ride down to where we get the boat to the Statue of Liberty. It’s the quickest way.”
They hurried down the stairs and joined the crowds waiting for the next train. “Do you take this to work every day?” Marco asked. “Or do you drive?”
