Chapter 80

“Thanks. Thinking too much, which I’ve done since we were kids, comes in handy once in a while.”

“All right…let me think.” Keith tapped his forehead with the handle of his fork. “We got a huge truckload from this estate just a week or so ago.”

“Estate?”

“Sounds fancier than what we ended up with. There was a ton of stuff but none of it was anything special, not to anyone but Faye.”

“From somewhere local?”

“Not this time. See, Karen likes to scour the internet for goodies,” Keith explained. “It’s so easy these days to get goods from all over, with Facebook and whatever. People are always looking to get rid of junk. One man’s trash and all that. We still get a lot of donations one or two pieces at a time from the neighborhood, but once or twice a year, the motherlode will ship in from somewhere else, something Karen has tracked down from far, far away.”
