Chapter 27

From the whirlpool of green, Jase Carmichael hollered upwards, “Sechus Mechintis! Hexus Resus! Femus Talis!”

A ball of green fire exited the pool and hung over the hole like a balloon. Within its glowing center was an image of a frowning Jase, losing his battle. Another spell in motion. Again, Ravenrock yelled out, only this time louder, “Rothunda Hexus! Shothus Hexus! Medius Hexus!”

At Ravenrock’s side, Harry chanted, “Nebulis! Encartis! Sulfus!” and snapped a thumb and finger together; a sharp and direct sound that echoed within the room, an obvious game changer regarding the dangerous and bizarre event at hand.

Thereafter, the hanging ball popped from one of Ravenrock’s bolts of fingertips-made lightning, and a shower of what looked like green sparkles filled the entire room: glittering, glowing, reflecting, and shining.
