He looked over at Zeb and the others. “Take couple of deep breaths,” he told himself. Tucker didn’t want to upset anyone else. He smiled and nodded.
“That smile is faker than some of the plastic trees around here.” Olivia knew him the best out of anyone there.
“No doubt.” Sam would see it, too. Actually, Tucker knew he wasn’t fooling anyone. “But if he needs us, he’ll let us know.”
Will he? Olivia had to wonder.
The lizard still had RJ’s attention, when Tucker turned his back to them. It walked across RJ’s expensive shoes, and the look on his face as he quaked in them was priceless. Tucker grinned for real—until one of the jerk’s pricy loafers came up off the ground.
