Chapter 75

“Thank you.” Tucker locked it up in a large metal desk’s biggest drawer, using a key he’d grabbed from a hook on the wall.

“Does that always hang there?”

“The camera’s safe. Trust me.” Tucker returned the key and then took off his shorts. He ruffled his hair with another huge bath towel and then bent over to start on his legs. “I have the right to be pissed, you know. Not because of the past, but because of today.” Tucker had to clear his throat. He wasn’t used to talking so much. “You busted in here illegally, Chad.” The towel and Tucker’s claws were up around the pelvic region. He was so used to being alone—in the locker room and in life—that even though he was talking to Chad, he’d sort of forgotten he was there. When he looked up, Chad was staring. “It’s nothing you haven’t seen before.”

“Yeah, but not for a while. And it’s different. Seems to me there’s more of it than I remember.”

“The hair?” Tucker almost blushed.

“Sure. Yeah. Hair. That too. “
