Chapter 82

“Glory. Look over here.” Tucker felt the cub at the back of his leg. The noises worked on something. “Your baby’s here.”

The mama tiger turned. She squinted her eyes at Tucker and her son, but then turned back to Chad.

“Fuck.” Tucker raked a claw over his face. It hardly had the same effect as when he did it with a hand.

“Fuck?” Chad gulped.

“Never mind.”

“It’s kind of hard to ‘never mind’ when the guy with all the power says f—” Glory sniffed at Chad’s neck, and then licked his face. “Fuck,” he croaked, and his eyes rolled back in his head. With a growl that had to be rather intense in sound that close to Chad’s ears, and even more intense to his nose, the cat lifted her foot off, and straddled him instead.

“Chad. Please. Stay still.”

“Not even breathing.”
