Nick nodded. “Do you want to leave the money here?”


Cam just took a little sigh and ducked her head. “I’m sure Se?orAlberto will understand if I keep this with me a few more moments. I’m not used to being this close to so much money and I want to bask in the feeling.” She smiled up at Alberto. “I was ordered not to let go of it until the exchange was to be completed. I apologize, se?or; I mean no offense.”


“None taken.” Alberto bowed slightly. “It is good business sense. Come, Nicolo, let us complete the final details so that your lady friend can be relieved of her burden. I do not like to see such a pretty lady so tense.”


Nick shrugged. “Okay,” he said to Cam, “I’ll come get you when we’re ready for the exchange.”
