He went, but hesitantly. “Are we alone down here?”
“We won’t be bothered, if that’s what you’re asking.” Arius patted the mattress. “Come here.”
“My clothes…”
“They’ll get here,” Arius said around a smile. “Surely you don’t want them yet.”
“How—”
“Stop asking questions, wolf. Everything comes in time. For now we’re having fun, remember?” Arius stood and lifted both arms, as though mirroring the image of a crucified Christ. Arius, however, looked pleased and comfortable as opposed to beaten and dying. “Undress me.”
Lyle’s eyes widened. “Excuse me?”
Arius rolled his eyes and his tone took an icy dip. “We can waste a lot of time pretending this isn’t what you want, pup, or you can just come up here and take what I’m offering. I strongly suggest the latter. The night continues to advance and you were, at least several hours ago, insisting that you had someplace to be.”
