Sebastian shrugged, and dug his own stuff out of the backpack. “It fit in my bag so no big deal. Didn’t cost me any extra.”

“Still.” Owen pulled the shirt and the jeans out of the bag, ridiculously pleased and not even embarrassed that he knew it showed all over his face. “That was nice of you. It left less room for your own stuff so that’s really cool.” He folded the clothes, revelling in the way the worn fabric felt between his fingers. “I owe you one.”

“I’d say we’re even.” Sebastian was also fingering his new clothes, looking at each item he’d purchased as if it were the first time he’d seen them. “You did after all spend an afternoon in jail for me. Oh!” He looked up suddenly, concern on his face. “That reminds me…I’ll be right back.”
