Why she’d be at the Boston port instead of New York was a mystery, assuming she was there on legitimate business, but Ben didn’t worry too much about that. He called Customs and Border Patrol and arranged for a detailed customs inspection. That should tie her hands for a good while.


Townsend messaged him toward the end of the workday. Apparently Jamal Bannerman had been seen in Brookline, working as a taxi driver. That fit with how he’d gotten to Lennon before, but it wouldn’t grant him access to Lennon now. Had he moved on to a new client and new project?
