“You raised yourself better than that.” Ben held Lennon’s face, not letting him look away. His eyes burned into Lennon’s with a feverish intensity. “I’m not about to give either of your parents any credit for an of the good in you. And believe me, babe. It is allgood.”


Lennon laughed quietly. It wasn’t all good. He knew he’d lashed out, especially at Kaden. He’d been more than a little territorial about his business, and about Ben. Hell, he hadn’t even given enough thought to taking Ben back for it to count as a rational decision. “Kiss me.”


Ben didn’t hesitate. He brought his lips down onto Lennon’s, sending sparks down every nerve ending. Lennon closed his eyes and lost himself in the scent, in being completely engulfed by the love of his life. He might not know what tomorrow would bring, but right here and right now he had Ben.


When they came up for air, he looked up at Ben. “Do you need to get together with the others and go hunting her?”
