His desire seemed to be all she was waiting for. With a small nod, Emma closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, just as she had right before she’d made her earlier observation. It lasted longer this time, her breathing slow and regular, until several minutes later, without opening her eyes, she reached out and cupped the side of his face.
