He glanced at Darzul. His partner seemed to have gone into a light trance, perhaps seeking to discern where they were. He should have time for a fast survey. He strode to the nearest wall and began to probe for anything his subtle senses could detect.
Darzul’s sudden thought cut through his concentration.
