Chapter 27

Nick pointed at Todd’s mug. “What’s in there?”

“Buddy, the coffee here…” Todd grinned when Nick’s mouth dropped open. He and Nick said together, “Sucks!” Laughing, Todd waved at the small coffeepot in the kitchenette. “I came prepared.”

Nick nearly destroyed the table and chair in his efforts to get to that coffeepot.

“I bought you some cream, too, in that little icebox.”

Beaming, Nick poured his coffee, fished out the cream, and stood with his nose over the mug, inhaling deeply and smiling.

“Do you want me to step out so you can be alone with that, ‘cause, kid, I think you’re getting a hard-on.”

“Am not!”

Todd leaned to one side and made a point of looking at Nick’s groin. “Am, too.”

After returning to the table and setting the mug down, Nick wound his arms around Todd’s neck, and he left wet, sloppy kisses along Todd’s cheeks. “You are the best master and mate that ever lived.”

Pulling his head to the side far enough to look at Nick, Todd nodded. “Yes, I am.”
