Eli needed several seconds to calm down, and he wiped at his eyes as he flopped onto his back. “Because you shave your head. And I like it, don’t get me wrong, but you were drop dead with the hair. If you were really vain, you wouldn’t have done it.” His gaze turned sideways again. “Why didyou shave it? I haven’t been able to figure that out.”
