Chapter 38

John didn’t get the verbal encouragement he was looking for. Rather, Parker slowly slipped off his own jacket, and let it fall to the floor. One by one, Parker released the buttons of his shirt, until it too slipped down his body. And while John sat on the bed, removing the pants he’d worked over his hips, Parker stepped forward. John didn’t mean to close his eyes; it was just too much. Too much to see, to feel, to think about.
