“What? Did you think I’d just let her go without a fight? Did you think about the consequences of this little visit at all?” Ethan demanded, not unfairly.


Jesse hadn’t done anything exceptthink about the consequences. He had known there was a good possibility they were sleeping together. But he honestly never suspected there was more to their relationship than that. Wouldn’t Emma have mentioned something, anything, if she were falling in love with Ethan?
