Chapter 40

The memory of their first kiss, their only kiss up to that point, had been seared into his mind as something he needed to hold onto, cherish, because the chance would probably never come again. But this kiss was so different, so much better. This kiss was full of promise, and heat, and her lips were so sweet. As promised, the walls between them fell, and he could feel everything. He could feel her everywhere. Wave after wave of love, of desire, of pleasure, of need moved through him, and then echoed back to her.
