Jesse shook his head and pushed the door open. He wasn’t going to obsess over this. Maybe he would talk to Gideon about it later. It wasn’t as though they had any taboo subjects between them, and it wasn’t a crime to be curious.


It wasn’t like he was dying from the curiosity.


Gideon would probably just confirm Jesse’s suspicions, and then maybe they’d have to talk to Emma about roles, about where everybody and everything fit. But he didn’t have to worry about it now. A quick glance in the bedroom once Jesse reached the apartment confirmed that Gideon was still asleep. Maybe by the time Gideon woke up, Jesse wouldn’t be so agitated and they wouldn’t have to talk about it at all.
