Instead of going over reports at his desk like he ought to be, he stood in the hallway of the main hall of the castle watching Christian attempt to supervise the Elves hanging Christmas decorations. Most of the hall had been finished, tinsel, bows, wreaths, and brightly colored packages filled the gigantic main room. The room had been lightly scented with freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Only hanging the mistletoe remained.

Which gave Gabriel definite ideas regarding those pursed, full lips of Christian’s.

“Move it over just a tad,” Christian said, standing next to the ladder an Elf stood on to hang the mistletoe. “Yes, there.”
