Chapter 19

Soozie Butterfly’s quite the lady (in a man’s body) and politely declines. She gruffly says, “I really must run. I have more presents to give out this evening. We can’t forget that it’s the time of giving.”

Sandy snickers yet again, swallowing down a gulp of water; the perfect audience to this train wreck of an Icicle play. Ibsen’s probably turning in his grave out of shame, but the ghost of Truman Capote relishes this particular act, scene, and its memorable characters.

Of course, she has more presents to give out. Another appointment!Jonah thinks. Doing the old rubbing and tugging gig on another guy. Bopping from one Jake to the next, sucking dick and getting paid to do it. He smirks, wondering if Jake’s afternoon massagewas a Christmas present, free of charge. Probably. Or did Jake have to steal cash out of Pam’s wallet and purse, which he is known to do when paying for things he needs or wants, since he doesn’t have a job?
