What are you up to? I’m at the hospital for the assignment I told you about last night. I think this is going to be a rather long day. I may not be able to reach my apartment before seven o’clock. Should we order pizza for dinner?


Sterling’s answering text message was very sweet. Zeke smiled as he read it a second time.


Busy with endless documents that I have to read on my laptop. I can’t stop thinking about you, though. I miss you all the time. Pizza sounds perfect. Do you want to visit me at my house instead? We’ve always had our dates outside or at your apartment. You should come to my house tonight. I promise I won’t bite. Much.


Zeke rolled his eyes. Sterling was such a damn tease.


Okay then. See you at your place later. Text me your address, please. I’ll call you later. I think the hospital guide assigned to me is already here. I have to go. I love you.
