Chapter 50

Comparatively, the well-built, reinforced house in the middle of nowhere was a safe haven. No place would be completely without danger, but Somerset sure felt like it, what with a small population, residents armed to the teeth with both magic and guns, and an entire mountain range to cushion them from everything else.
