A lifetime ago. “And like I said, there’s nobody here. I’d be more worried about taking a wrong step and breaking an ankle or getting roughed up by a bear or something. Let me handle the locals, if there are any. I got enough bullets for the whole damn county.”


Yuuki shot her a glare, but her expression quickly softened. Her body relaxed, and she seemed calmer. “I’ll keep that in mind.”
