All fresh and showered, I dressed into a sweatshirt and jogging pants. I was about to leave the locker room until someone grabbed me by the arm. My eyes landed on the aged man who was fully dressed in all black again, and he seemed displeased, with those eyes narrowing at me like burning coals.

“I should have you fired for inappropriate contact.”

My heart lurched in vibration from that deep voice. I could feel it through my ears while the room seemed to spin at a turtle’s pace.
