Tobias’s cheeks reddened, but David wasn’t sure if it was more out of embarrassment or anger. “I had actually planned to take you to a fine dining restaurant, but Pablo told me a diner would be better for our first date. If you want, we can always go to a restaurant instead.”

David shook his head. “Pablo is right. Besides, I’ll feel out of place at an expensive restaurant.”
