Chapter 9

Gage collapsed to the bed without bothering to undress, playing the night over and over in his mind. Trying to point to the moment he’d fucked everything up. He knew his inexperience could be a turn off, but he didn’t expect it to send Christopher running as fast as he could in the opposite direction. After years of guilt and self-inflicted punishment and hiding, he thought it would be easier in LA.

Maybe everybody back at home was right. Maybe there really was something wrong with him. Something that needed to be cured. Or some demon that needed to be cast out.
