Chapter 15

They were the last ones out of the bar, and when they finally left, everyone but Gage, Bodie, and Christopher were walking on a bit of an angle. Gage had never seen so many drunk people at once. “Well enough. I walk around here all the time. There’s nothing to worry about.”

“I’ll walk him home,” Bodie volunteered. “I’m still enjoying our conversation anyway.”

Something about the furrow of Christopher’s eyebrows told Gage he was going to protest. “Thanks, I appreciate that,” he said, before Christopher could speak.
