Chapter 10

I admitted to David at some point in our friendship, that Simon DeRue had a magnetic look about him that drew my attention: a peach-colored and round face, bright blue eyes, and pug-like nose that looked adorable. Sometimes magnetic men obsessed over strange needs.

Surprised by his request, I said, “Excuse me?”

He shook his head. “Nothing. Never mind. I’m settled in now and you can leave. Thanks for helping me.” He placed five dollars in my right palm as a tip. Off I went. I didn’t think of his request to see me out of my shirt again…until two days later.
