They giggled as one unit, and it was creepy as fuck. “No,” the brunette now named Sue said. “It’s tomorrow night, eight, at Kappa Sig.” Her smile widened. “We could all get dinner beforehand.”

He glanced around the dining hall. “Uh…”

“Not here.” Karen giggled. “We could eat out.”

He really couldn’t be imagining her emphasis on eat outtoo, could he? “Uh…”

She leaned into his personal space, but when he attempted to lean away to avoid her, he found himself trapped by Amy on his other side. He winced, skin crawling, when her hand landed on his biceps and her breath brushed his cheeks. “C’mon, it’ll be fun.”

“Uh….”

“Or we could skip the party altogether,” Sue offered with a wink.

Amy inched closer to him on his other side, practically pinning him in place. “Whatever you want.”

“Uh, that’s very, uh, kind of you?” he managed as he squirmed out of Karen’s grasp without bumping into Amy. “But I, uh, have plans. With my boyfriend.”
