After that, Jonas winced as he averted his eyes from Carson and got up on his feet. That was the lamest comeback he ever gave. He couldn’t think properly, though. Everything inside his head was a huge mess of confusion and arousal. He concentrated on stepping one foot in front of the other as he headed toward the dining room. He could sense Carson tailing him, but he ignored his ex-boyfriend to the best of his ability. Not that it was an easy feat. After all, Carson not only had a magnetic presence. He was also dominant physically in comparison to Jonas. He might only be two inches taller than Jonas, but he was nearly forty pounds heavier, and that was all made up of muscle. Jonas had read the document on Carson’s physical evaluation a couple of times. His ex-boyfriend had an even better build now at forty-five years old than the man had back in his twenties.
