But he picked up his phone to type a quick reply to Dexter, who, no, Colin was not in love with.


Colin: That was just…corny as all hell, dude. Wtf?


Dexter: oh thank you. can always count on you;P


Colin laughed. Normal things. This was nice. What he needed to get through the rest of the night.


Colin: Dexter…that was fucking beautiful. srly. thank you so much. I mean that. bottom of my heart.


Dexter: Colin Grant Hunt r u being mushy with me???


He rolled his eyes, but Colin had to be honest and not cover this up with his normal antics


Colin: Shit. You caught me. Yes. Dexter u have no idea. I…u made me cry dude. I was having a breakdown, for real. Think you just saved me tonight. Thank you baby.


A few minutes went by and Colin wondered if maybe Dexter fell asleep. He usually answered pretty fast. But his phone went off again while he was in the kitchen fixing himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich because Dexter told him to eat something.
