“What am I supposed to do?” Johnny asked.
“We need to help Albert and Benny.”
“And how do you propose we do that?”
“Get rid of Steven,” Rachel said matter-of-factly.
“And again I say, how do you propose we do that? If it was really that easy, wouldn’t somebody have done it by now?”
“I don’t think anybody’s tried.” The fear and loneliness he’d experienced as Albert was ebbing, clearing his head. “Steven’s been tormenting them for years. He’s been scaring away guests, and I’ll bet he’s been freaking out the employees, too. That would explain why they wanted you out of the suite after they saw the mess he made. He’s the bad guy here. We can’t just let him get away with it, especially since he killed Benny. Do you really want his murderer to get away scot-free?”
Johnny edged back from the table, his gaze sliding away from them. “No, of course not. I just don’t know what we can do to help.”
“An exorcism,” Rachel said.
