His hand was starting to cramp when a knock came at the door. Grateful for the reprieve, he bounced up from the table and smiled as soon as he saw Ryan.


“Did you get time off for good behavior?” he said, but when he held the door open wider for Ryan to enter, Ryan didn’t move.


“My shuttle’s about to leave for the airport,” Ryan said. Now that he mentioned it, Johnny saw the duffle resting on the floor at his side. “Ms. Carroll is holding it so I can say goodbye.”


His heart plummeted. “You’re leaving so soon?” But they hadn’t had the chance to talk since getting interrupted in bed that morning. He was awake now, and he wasn’t thinking with his cock, so it was the perfect time to figure out how they could sneak time together once they were both back in LA. Except they couldn’t do that if Ryan wasn’t actually here.
