His arm tightened around her, and even though he knew they couldn’t spend the entire day kissing in the cold barn, he didn’t want to let her go.

She made a sound in the back of her throat that made his ears burn. It felt like a moan. Or a whimper. Something carnal, laced with need and the silent plea for more. When she coiled her arms around his neck, Kenneth finally abandoned the touch of her cheek to skim his hand down her side, coming to a rest on her hip.

Amy broke away for a moment, panting heavily. Her pupils had nearly swallowed the blue irises, but they couldn’t mask the gleam that shone up at him. “No, you’re most definitely not a boy. I’ve never been kissed like that before.”
