Chapter 7

It’s infuriating. Dustin paces his apartment, trying to think what to do. He decides to go down to the police station in person. He grabs his bike and rides down to the local police station.

Dustin chains up his bike outside, pretty sure it’ll be safe—who would break a chain on a bike outside of a police station, after all? He goes inside and asks to see the person in charge of the case of the missing women.

“Can I ask who you are?” the man on reception asks.

“My name’s Dustin McPherson.” Dustin has a bad feeling, from the way the man is looking at him, that this isn’t going to go well for him. His name tag reads Officer Grey, he’s not—from Dustin’s reading him—in charge of the case.

“And are you a relation to any of the missing women?” Officer Grey asks.

“No, but I have information about one of the women who is missing,” Dustin explains.

“You saw something?” Officer Grey asks.
