“Stay the fuck out of my head,” he hissed, and rounded the coffee table and flung himself into the chair next to Nico, too embarrassed to look at him.


He sank lower into his seat when Nico let out an impatient breath. “If you’re done playing, Piter, I’d like some answers.”


Jamie winced at Piter’s bark of laughter. “Sorry, Jamie! Guess the man really doesn’t care about you. But I’m always here if you need some…relief.”


“What are you doing here, Piter?” Nico snapped, clearly losing his patience.


“Why, visiting friends, my dear. What did you think?”
