“Dion!” Galen exclaimed. He was proud of Dion, but he was also scared on behalf of his boyfriend. He didn’t want anything bad to happen to Dion. “Forget the demon. Save the woman first.”
In the next instant, Dion did exactly as he was instructed, shoving the demon away and dragging the woman’s unconscious body backward. Galen approached Dion and the woman. He still didn’t care about the other strangers behind him. He could wipe away their memories later. His top priority was to ensure that the woman would survive. At the moment, her aura was flickering on and off, which implied that her life force was weakening at a rapid pace. Fortunately, the demon had already disappeared so Galen knew he and Dion wouldn’t have to fend off any attacks from it.
“What in hell had the demon done to this woman?” Dion asked Galen as he placed the woman right in front of the cupid.
