In one night I come out to my parents and break up with my boyfriend. And then the hard part starts. Casey is my oldest friend, and I move in with him after my breakup. I had no idea how Kennedy had done it, but she had managed to record us in the karaoke bar and posted it on our pages. Omar saw it and loved it.


We were also on a few morning shows and performed a few evenings at some of the local hot spots. People in Nashville were loving us. Our social media exploded with thousands of more likes. We added on a few people to manage our pages, so it wasn’t all on Kennedy anymore.


We did several photo shoots, and for the most part everything went okay. I’d always tried to be a good lead singer and not take the spotlight, so I suggested several poses where I was in the back. And I think my bandmates appreciated I knew I’d be nowhere without them.
