“You should have said something—I would have thrown in a load of wash before we left.”
“That’s exactly why I didn’t, today is about you and me and our love for each other. No chores allowed until we get home to Kitty tonight at ten.”
“They’re going to keep her that late?” Jason’s eyes widened in surprise.
“She’s having pizza for supper and her uncles are going to give her a bath and put her to bed with a story. Bobby’s done it before and Keith’s going to have to learn, especially if we’re planning on having more kids.” Zach rubbed Jason’s back in a gentle rhythm.
“Are we having more kids?” Jason asked.
“Sure we are as long as you want them. I haven’t discussed finances with you but we can afford two more complete with a large college fund and still have enough for an early retirement, I have enough for Kitty, too, and for us all to live a comfortable life wherever you want.”
“The only place I want to be right now is here with you.”
