She picked up her purse, left her copy of the signed agreement on the table, and stormed out of the room.


“Baby, can she cause us any more trouble?” Jack asked Carlo barely keeping it together.


“No, caro, no more trouble. Three months and two house visits and Bella will be ours.” Carlo put his arm around Jack and squeezed his shoulder.


“Trust your lawyer. She’s not going to find anyone willing to go against the mountain of evidence we have against her,” Jake told him.


“We can arrest her for extortion before she leaves the parking lot. We were iffy on the hundred grand since you offered it to her. But once she tried to extort additional funds, we got her and we have it all on tape. No judge would give that woman custody of a rat for fear it might be abused to say nothing of you holding a tape where she tries to squeeze money from you to drop her custody suit,” Matt Harvey said.
