Chapter 8

“Bobby’s like my brother, Giuseppe—protective. Papa had to hold Giuseppe back because none of us would have ever matured if we weren’t allowed to make some mistakes. If Mike is smart, he won’t ask for too much. If he’s not, Enzo will figure it out right away. Tell Bobby to have some faith in Enzo. He’s brilliant but has been thinking with his little head. As soon as money is involved, the thinking head will switch, especially since Mike has never agreed to see Enzo any place other than the Sunset.”

“You realize that if this doesn’t go well, Bobby will have both of us for breakfast and Giuseppe will help him cook,” Keith said dryly.

“I’ll take all the blame.” Carlo chuckled. “Jack’s told me tales of Bobby’s wrath.”

“Here he comes. I’ll let you tell him.” Keith handed the phone off to Bobby. “It’s Carlo.”

“You told him and he’s going to talk to Enzo?” Bobby held the phone in his hand.

“You talk to him.” Keith shrugged, took back the phone and put Carlo on speaker.
