Chapter 26

He looked at his watch. “Uh oh, I have to get moving, Papa Bear worries. I’ll see you later in the week for the rugs and window treatments.” Brian and Jim each gave Greg a kiss on the cheek and they were out the door before he had a chance to say good-bye.

Greg began to empty the bags and unwrap the linens to put them into the wash so that sheets and towels would be soft for use that evening.

Since they took Jim’s Mini to the store, Greg figured he needed to make a trial run with the Audi. He ran over to Wegmans and picked up a French baguette after the boys left. Greg decided to make spaghetti, meatballs, sausage and peppers. They could have a Caesar salad and he would premake the garlic bread to pop into the oven.
