The next day, Bull opened the cage and woke Jamie. He crawled out and Bull removed the shackles. “Go put on your running clothes and we’ll take a run around the neighborhood.”


After the shackles were removed Jamie stretched his body and then hurried to his room to get ready to run. Jamie met Bull outside and they did some stretching on the front porch. Bull motioned for Jamie to follow him.


Bull strapped his gun on his side. They ran for about two and a half miles and then they turned for home. Bull was surprised. Jamie wasn’t even winded. He hadn’t lied about being in good physical condition.
