“Aren’t you putting the cart before the horse? Robbie hasn’t agreed to anything yet, or do you know something we don’t? Because Danny will have your liver for breakfast if Robbie gets hurt and I’ll dine with him. That kid has experienced enough trauma to last a lifetime,” Caden told Tom.

“I know. He’s so grateful for any scrap thrown his way and is adamant about supporting himself.”
